Biographical Statement

Carlo Stagnaro is one of the founders and directors at Instituto Bruno Leoni (IBL), an Italian libertarian non-profit organization promoting classical liberal ideas in Italy and Europe. Based in Turin and Milan, it organizes conferences and seminars in many Italian cities, publishes books, briefing papers and other works, and assists students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. IBL is a member organization of the Cooler Heads Coalition which claims that "the science of global warming is uncertain, but the negative impacts of global warming policies on consumers are all too real". Mr Stagnaro is currently an advisor to Italy’s Minister for Economic Development.
