Biographical Statement

Kuzman Iliev, 28, is an economic and political analyst and financial journalist. He is currently preparing his Ph.D in the field of Financial Economics and Banking and has a Master’s degree in Public Management (Toulouse, France).

He has received the Student of the Year Award (New Bulgarian University, 2009) and the Charles Mozer Grant, as well as having won two first places in the EU parliament essay competitions.

Co-founder of Brain-Workshop Institute, Iliev’s main research interests include monetary theory, banking, financial economics, business cycles, financial history, history of economic thought and political philosophy.

Kuzman speaks fluently French and English and operationally Spanish.
